Hello!
Well, I've just been editing away on the manuscript of my second novel, Teffy and the Golden Spoon. I wanna know what you think of these two lines:
The gnome stood still, awaiting his enemy to show himself again.
And...
Last came the spoons.
Do those make decent opening lines? I want my book to be appealing right from the get-go. Do those lines grab your attention? Any advice? I've got lots of work to do, and assistant editors would be GREAT and muchly appreciated.
Met me know if you'd be interested in helping me edit the whole thing. Of course you wouldn't get paid but, you know... if you love reading, then yeah.
